Due to our phenomenal growth and reputation in the industry, we are currently seeking an experienced IT Networking Specialist at our Phoenix, AZ branch.


    The IT Networking Technician is responsible for providing network level support to external clients and the internal IT helpdesk. He/she reviews and assesses client network infrastructure in LAN and WAN environments. This includes but is not limited to network mapping, switch and router troubleshooting, firewall installations, WIFI configuration and troubleshoot and general break/fix support. The IT Networking Technician must be an extremely detail oriented and methodical problem solver. He/she must have the ability to manage small to medium size network projects (e.g. firewall and AP installations, managed switch installations, etc.)


    Required Skills / Knowledge

    • Extensive knowledge of network connectivity, network security and WiFi networks.
    • Remote troubleshooting and diagnosis of network connectivity issues
    • Good understanding of Windows servers environment and common operating systems
    • WatchGuard knowledge, and exposure to other firewall hardware (SonicWALL, CISCO, etc.)
    • Ability to work with a variety of customers and vendors (some technical some non-technical)
    • Ability to lead clients through discovery phase (asking the right questions)
    • Aggressive problem solver
    • Able to develop concise documentation and training materials
    • Ability to travel locally to different clients


    • Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of professional experience in an IT Helpdesk
    • Professional networking certifications – CCNA, CCNP, CCIE CWNA, N+
    • Good understanding of Windows Server environments (SBS,2003, 2008 R2 & 2012)
    • Advanced knowledge of networking protocols and concepts (VPN, Routing, Ports, TCP/IP, Network analysis tools)
    • Knowledge and hands-on experience providing support to users using Windows 7, Windows 8 and other mainstream Microsoft applications
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work cohesively with clients

    Bonus Skill Sets

    • Good understanding of Mac OS environment
    • Watchguard firewall certification or previous experience
    • Previous experience managing HP switches and routers
    • Previous experience working in managed IT services
    • Basic understanding of VOIP technology
    • A+, MCSE, MCITP and other relevant certifications
